NBRS Architects is proud to possess a vibrant team of enthusiastic professionals with a strong mix of talents and abilities.

Our team consists of Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers, Technicians, Drafters and Administration Personnel. We believe our teamwork and focus on constant collaboration within our many disciplines, and our progressive approach contributes to our success in the industry.

Team Leaders

Victor SeredenkoVictor Seredenko - General Manager

Victor Seredenko has had extensive experience in bringing a wide variety of projects to fruition from conceptual design, through to the design development phase, liaising with consultants, documentation and contract administration.  He has recently accepted the role of General Manager of NBRS Architects and looks forward to the challenges of maintaining a successful practice with a vibrant and energetic team of professionals.


Katherine RoweKatherine Rowe - Operations Manager

A North Queensland girl at heart, Katherine moved to Brisbane after completing her Tertiary Education at James Cook University. After gaining Accounting, Recruitment and Management experience in the Property Industry Katherine joined NBRS Architects in early 2007. She has recently accepted the position of Operations Manager to which she brings a fresh and professional approach.

Katherine prides herself on the relationships she has cultivated and maintained through her short time within the industry, not only with Clients and Consultants but also with all members of the NBRS Team.

Katherine is dedicated to leading the company in maintaining and continuously improving function and efficiency of Project and Financial management within NBRS Architects.


Bob PollockBob Pollock - Architectural Consultant

Bob Pollock is a multidisciplinary professional whose knowledge, experience and enthusiasm have established a reputation for his competency in all aspects of property development and operation.  His extensive knowledge includes:

  • Capital Investment and Strategic Planning
  • Project Financing and Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Design and Construction
  • Facility Management

Bob has led the NBRS Team since its introduction into the Queensland market in 2004.  He has recently reduced his duties for health reasons, but continues to play a major role in the NBRS Team by managing some major projects and sharing his expertise in all areas of design and construction.


Tania McLachlanTania McLachlan - Senior Architect

Tania McLachlan is a registered Architect with over 20 years experience in design and documentation. During her career she has successfully completed projects including single and multi unit residences, commercial, industrial and public buildings.

Tania is currently Senior Project Architect for a multi-million dollar project in Queensland. Her acute understanding of detailing and documentation, extensive construction knowledge and enthusiasm all contribute to maintaining NBRS Architect’s position in the forefront of excellence in design.


Pamela GeorgesonPamela Georgeson - Interior Design Technician

Pamela Georgeson joined NBRS Architects in 2007 as an Interior Technician with qualifications gained from Southbank Institute of Technology. Her creativity and design skills have contributed to the successful completion of designs for a number of projects including showrooms, libraries, office fitouts and residential units.

Pamela’s keen eye for designing and detailing the Interiors for each project continues to make her a valuable asset within the Company. Her continued training has expanded her skills into the fields of 3D modeling, graphic design and marketing.


Directors

NBRS Architects Qld shares four directors with NBRS+Partners in Sydney. Our directors Ridley Smith, Robert Staas, Geoff Deane, and Graham Thorburn provide us with a wealth of knowledge and direction in all areas of management and architecture.

Ridley SmithRidley Smith

Ridley Smith is co founder of NBRS+Partners established in Sydney in 1968. His recent works include Singapore International Sports School, Hillsong Church, and a number of Anglican Church schools.

Ridley also provides probono advice to a number of boards, welfare and charity organisations in developing countries.


Robert StassRobert Stass

Robert Staas joined NBRS+Partners in 1971. He specialises in Heritage Conservation and is Heritage Advisor to various local councils and is also an Expert Witness in the Land and Environment Court.

Robert has carried out the Heritage Strategy for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the Reserve Bank of Australia, and also completed works including Wynyard Park, Capital Square, Grace Bros Broadway and St Mark’s Church Darling Point in Sydney.


Geoff DeaneGeoff Deane

Geoff Deane has been a director at NBRS+Partners since 1986. In his time with the company he has developed a keen interest in Master Planning and Ecological Sustainable Building Design and has been involved particularly in the planning of educational campuses in Australia and overseas.

Geoff shares his experience and expertise as a member of an architectural design panel for a tertiary college board and also assesses Master Planning projects as a member of an architectural design panel.


Graham ThorburnGraham Thorburn

Graham Thorburn joined NBRS+Partners in 1969. He directs teams on an array of projects including prisons, courthouses, residential and urban design. Graham’s most recent works include advising the Victorian Department of Justice on two Public Private Partnership Prisons and master planning of their future prison needs, and a residential development in Wagga Wagga.
